We have completed a remarkable project in Basel, where we successfully met the wishes and requirements of the client and the authorities. This project not only highlights our expertise in fire protection but also our commitment to aesthetics and functionality.
To meet the client’s expectations and the stringent requirements of the authorities, we utilized our String 2 EI30-EI60 system partitions. We combined the glazed String 2 EI30-EI60 fire-resistant partitions with our single and double-leaf EI30 62mm glass fire doors.
String 2 EI30-EI60 solid and glass elements
Our partition system String 2 is designed to offer both safety and aesthetics. This system creates a pleasant working environment through its design and transparent appearance. Not only is functionality ensured, but it also seamlessly integrates into each customer’s sustainability and interior design concept.
What is EI30?
EI30 refers to a fire resistance class, where the partitions and doors must be fire-resistant for at least 30 minutes, including the criteria of insulation (I) and integrity (E). This means that the EI30 elements can effectively prevent the spread of fire and smoke for at least 30 minutes in the event of a fire. This gains valuable time for evacuation and the deployment of the fire brigade.
