For a big project in the United Kingdom, Maars played a key role in shaping the project’s, focusing on both aesthetics and acoustic performance. The project, for a Global Travel Company run a 24-week program and finished in October 2022.
Our involvement was from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of 400,000 square feet of space. The client’s priorities were clear: they wanted a space that looked great, high-end performance, and offered value for money. Moreover, acoustic performance was key. We were able to influence overall design, look, feel as well as finishes
Component based solution
We met the client’s demands by using our component based systems, which are also cost-effective. One notable feature of the project is our innovative use of different glazing types to enhance both acoustics and aesthetics.
Combination of Metaline and Carre
This project used the innovation of Monoblock Double glazed Metaline in combination with Single glazed Horizon Carre. This unique pairing not only enhances acoustic performance but also adds a touch of elegance to the space. The complete project is component based, utilizing Maar’s systems which are cradle to cradle certified.

As we reflect on this seamless collaboration, Maars is happy with the co-operation and proud of the results. For the project, Maars worked directly with the client as well as the principal architect and main contractor in the secondary network.
