Customized solutions for a group of schools
In a collaborative venture with the dealer MVC Cloison, Maars France was involved from the start of the project for Léonard de Vinci University. The architect, ZEBRandCO, had previously collaborated with Maars on another school project and recommended our high-quality solutions for their flexibility and acoustic qualities. The project management was done by Quadrilatère.

This university is unique because it is a collaboration between three types of schools. The schools within the group (EMLV, ESILV, and IIM) offer complementary curricula that combine the skills of engineers, managers, and designers. They are closely connected and offer small classes, numerous international internships, and a dynamic learning environment.
The motto of this university is “Go Further,” something recognizable to Maars because we always go the extra mile in every project where possible.
Implemented Maars systems
String² steel walls, Panorama 47dB, and XL Metal doors 41dB were selected. The choice of walls and doors was influenced by some of the university’s requirements, with an emphasis on acoustics to create efficient learning environments.
Seamless collaboration and customized solutions
Throughout the summer, collaboration between Maars and MVC Cloison went very smoothly. Maars’ back office personally visited the site, took measurements, and used their experience to propose customized solutions. This approach allowed the adaptation of wall systems to the existing facade, with Maars solutions integrated seamlessly within the university.
Meeting sound insulation requirements
The main requirement of Université Léonard de Vinci focused on sound insulation – a challenge that Maars willingly accepted. To meet these requirements, we conducted multiple on-site tests. The results achieved not only met the university’s requirements but also improved the acoustic quality of the learning environments.
Timely delivery and future-oriented modularity
The project had to be completed by mid-November, a deadline successfully met by Maars. Furthermore, our modular walls make it incredibly easy to dismantle and reassemble in the future, facilitating the addition of new walls and improving the building’s sustainability. We are once again very proud of the results of this project.
